How many of you use plentyoffish? I found out about it from this site. Okay, we know to qualify women so that we don't get used and abused. So I was surfing, and came across a profile written by a woman who had a lot of demands but she didn't even post a photo. I sent her a message mentioning that guys don't need to worship women but should treat them as human beings. I also asked her that with all her demands why not post a photo of herself. Guess what? The cow blocked me. I went to check my inbox and didn't see anything. So I thought maybe it didn't go through. So I attempt to send it again but I get this message that the user blocked me. She got called on being an attention (bleep) and didn't like it. I've been doing the qualifiers with every woman I message. Most don't know what to make of it. A lot of them think I'm testing them, playing a game. A few have gotten defensive and this is the second one to block me. The first one told me off THEN blocked me. :p Before I started qualifying women I didn't have this response from women on dating sites. I'd get lots of responses but it was because they liked what I had to say. Now that I'm breaking free of the Matrix this is what happens. All the same, there are some great women who I'm talking with. Hotties who look good (and not just me saying it, they ARE hot) which again is good because a handsome guy should get responses from extremely attractive women. But no more worship. I'm done with that.

Incidentally, a few months ago I had read a thread down in the Mature Man's forum about one of the mods had posted on plentyoffish a while back. I used my own style when I send out my messages to women. Nothing rude, it's a message from a guy who knows what he wants and wants women to know that a man is better than a whiny "nice guy". The women who are in it for self satisfaction can't take the reality of being called on their garbage. On one level it makes me a little insulted to be blocked by attention (bleep) but it shows I'm doing what I'm supposed to do.

I won't post my messages here, though. It would give away my angle but using what we learn from life and this site you guys should be able to come up with good ones of your own. If you're not being a jerk, or a twerp and you still get blocked then you know it's because the woman is not worth your time and woe to any AFC who crosses her path.

Plentyoffish is the worst dating site on the net. The place is filled with fat pigs and attention hors! If you want to try dating websites try ethnic sites. For example if your polish go to a polish website, if your greek a greek dating website and so on. Plentyoffish is a haven for fat hicks.

Most girls on american websites tend to be on the ugly side. They are usually either fat, ugly, social rejects or atteniton hors who have no intent on meeting a guy. The ethnic sites are much better.

BTW be careful on ethnic websites because some girls post fake pics. had that happened to me a few times. I met 2 girls and the photo they sent me was not them even though they claimed it was.

lol Sir haha..it would be good for me if it was plentyofsinglemoms.com(love milfs) but ya I have seen that to it kinda sucks...all they are there for is to massage their ego. I actually only made a profile to see how my looks rated yes superficial but whatever lol.

Yeah, I've never had any luck on that site. Plenty of mental cases there. This one dental assistant chick once contacted me "Live" and we messaged back and forth around the 4th of July. So she says, "I'm going boating today with friends" so I say, "You should ask me to come" and she says, "Oh, I should, should I?" I said, "yeah." Then the next day she says that she didn't even go. Insecure b1tches like that just ruin there chances with me all the time. No wonder they never get any head, and are lonely.

I agree with everything said on this thread, but you have to not let rejection and flaking get to you and make you negative. It's easier said than done, but you have to just laugh it off and not take it personally. Getting women is selling yourself, and good salesmen learn to not let rejection bother them. Most people can't handle hearing 'no' constantly, which is why sales jobs pay so well to top salespeople. Carrying negativity hurts your new interactions. Think sticks-and-stones, water off a duck's back, and who cares what some random Internet chick says or does?

i do think most of the girls you deal with online are probably fat or screwed up in some way. otherwise they'd be taken already by guys in real life

I think Bible Belt's myspace advice is probably a good idea, tho, if you're really intent on sarging online

Plentyoffish is the dry-well of internet dating.

I tend to put very little stock in this website. I'll give two reasons:

1. It advertises itself as a DATING website. This scares off young, hip, attractive women who don't want to settle down just yet. Conversely, it attracts older, separated/divorced, overweight mothers who are trying to play the pair of 2s God gave them before they die.

Compare this to myspace or facebook, which only claim to be meeting websites. Far more hip and current, far less commitment expected, and without the stigma of needing to use the internet to find a date. Thus, desirable women use it.

2. It is female-centric: much of the features and anecdotes shown on the website are aimed at the female demographic, much like ads for bathroom cleaners on TV.

Stop wasting your time on this one and start using myspace, hotornot, or facebook. And remember, if you have to pay money for a meeting website, its a scam.

I used plentyoffish once out of curiousity while I was on this site.
I took it down the next day. When even the 4s (which I needed to give to my AFC friends in order to get this girls potential resources out) give an attitude, I stopped using it.

I'd like to see a 4 give me lip in person and not try to be an internet badass.

Yeah, I'm not having much luck on Plentyoffish, though to be fair, I've talked with one really cool woman so far. But, as long as I'm not taking the desperate AFC route, I figure it's a good learning experience.

A lot of them don't respond, which is weird for "women who are looking" they don't seem to put in the tiniest bit of effort for some guys. Their loss. I figure I just have less weirdo's to deal with.

The holidays were a pain in the ass because all the usual stuff had been canceled, so the quality women haven't been around. So, I thought I'd try the site. It was free, so there's nothing to lose.

Craigslist is worthless. It's 98 percent spam. The rest of the dating sites are fairly worthless, too... I'm not spending 50 bucks a month on this when there's no guarantee I'd find anyone who could hold my interest.

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

I'm not entirely sure about that. I mean, yeah, a lot of women say "no pic no response", but I have two fairly good pictures of me on there, and I've only had one woman who has been cool enough to write back. So that picture = response rule is kind of a fluke. (fish? Fluke? eh? Ok, just know that these AREN'T the jokes I'm using on anyone there).

Plentyoffish isn't bad. I have made plans to meet a girl next week off that site.

I've scored a fair bit of ass of that site...I swear girls on that site are super easy and for the most part not really that attractive.

Me and my gf posted "fake" profiles to see the kinda responses we'd get haha...its pretty hilarious. She had 40+ emails the first day and tons of guys trying to IM her. Several of the emails were from women too! The pics on the profile are us, but the description etc is all made up totally not like our personalities!
