LOL I must be becoming more of a "player" already, since I've already got myself a "hater."

Jimi/squirrel, I'm not upset at your bad comedy. It's just a pity that what you're doing screws the board up for everyone.

There are millions of things to do in this world, challenges to be undertaken, women to be laid, and you're wasting your time harassing a loser AFC like me on an internet message board.

Knock yourself out.

Dude, I've been reading your posts and your attitude just blows. How are you ever going to have confidence, women and respect with an attitude like that?

LOL I was making a point with that one, since that's obviously how this person saw me.

But you're right, my attitude IS unstable right now and I AM clinging to a lot of the old attitudes that brought me down in the past (and still do).

It's hard when the new attitude you're trying to instill is supposed to love learning from challenge and failure, while the OLD attitude is clinigng to the idea that challenge and failure are unacceptable and that natural superiority is everything. And when the old attitude starts winning out, guess where I come for help?

You're right that only I can fight this battle, but it's good to listen to people who have fought it before and learn from their experiences as well. The attitude, issue, of course, is my own. And I am aware of it.

On a side note, your reply about my motivation on that other thread was pretty much right-on. But I'm honestly stumped on how to "fix" that. I think it may have to do with thinking too far ahead about everything and trying to judge the future based on the past, instead of just living in the present and doing stuff that I want to do.

Ok, so you've identified the problem, congratulations...you best start moving because it doesn't get any easier from this point. It's a struggle but you have to make ground every day ^ Both mentally and physically. It does you know good to live in the future and even worse to worry that your future will be like your past if you've had a lousy one. You see your future will get better based on the steps you take daily starting YESTERDAY!
