Planning my future, jobs, money etc...

I'm currently about to start 3rd year uni doing Bachelor of Education/Human Movement. So far that'll get me a Phys. Ed teacher job when I do finish. Also when I finish my degree I can have other options such as becoming a policeman etc. Lately I've been busy reading all good materials on DJ forum about handling your life not just women. I've also started thinking about what the future holds and been doing a lot of self-improvement (think and grow rich etc) to help me with a lot of things. Before this I've just been studying at uni for the sake of doing it and not really showing a lot of passion for life and not making the most of it. I wasn't doing things for myself then.

Back then this bum/loser attitude has put a dampener on life and was a cause to why I was being AFC and not being attractive to women and not appealing. Deciding to have a turnaround I found the DJ forum to handle my situation with women and not long after, I wanted to change and improve my life altogether.

I wanna set out goals and directions and wanna make it big and become rich. As a student studying teaching I think my options are limited as they would only make around 40k AU and that's not rich at all. But as a teacher we have 10 weeks holiday so that's not bad at all taking a break from those lil sh*ts lol. I think I'm in the wrong field but I've studying education for too long to be changing into another course. I have already changed from engineering as I was a DUMB ASS for not being smart about my future. I was thinking I could get that paper and decide what to do then but I'm impatient to wait then to decide on what to do.

Is there future in teaching to be able to make it big? I've underestimated my potential and still into the journey of self-discovery but I just don't want to be idle or too busy to enjoy life. I've seen too many people become bums and very unhappy about their lives and that just gave me a kick up the ass. I'm currently in a phase where I'm unsure on what to do. All my mates are earning big bucks but just piss it up down the drain and wasting it all.

Basically I just want to know if theres anything great after getting my Education degree rather than just teaching. I'm looking to get a quick buck while on uni holidays but its hard to get a job since its only like 1-2 months. I've only got a lil pizza joint job but that's not enough to make a small start.

By the way I live in Australia, close to tourism spots, live on campus, got car, no gfs (yet lol) and starting to save up cash.

Anyways any opinion and answers would be great.

How to organize your life

Firstoff, you said you wanted to be rich, well thats good now find out what you wanna do to become rich, for example you could start a business or invest in real estate (two very popular methods).

After you figured that out, make a "map" on paper or on the computer writing down how you will get there, make a list of skills that you need, and work on getting those skills up by reading books or articles.

If you want to be a business owner, I would suggest reading "You need to be a little crazy" as your first book.

And remember, you don't need a business degree to become a successful business owner, everything helps, even teaching because you also learn social skills which are very important.

After college you could do an internship somewhere, or maybe even work for a while (I really dislike working for someone, but thats just me).

So, basically read books on certain subjects so you can get your skills up, and don't forget to work on your inner self, motivation and positive internal dailogue is very important, you can also read some books on that subject aswell.

Hope that helped, because I know what its like to have no focus or direction in life.

Well to me it's obvious, teaching pay is crap unless you spend x years trying to be a head, and then you have all the grief.

Use your edu. as a springboard into personal training, or try and work out what the next fad will be for seperating lazy, ignorant people from their cash.

There are obvious fringe benefits too.

Above all do something you love, you never get rich by doing a luctrative profession if you hate it.

You will never get really rich in 'consultant' jobs either as you are just swapping time for money. Ultimately you need something that allows you to multiply out your efforts.

Has anyone got example of their plan on how they made it big? I just need help with the structuring.

Reiki, Im not that good at the 'map' stuff you mentioned. If you've done yours to get to where you want to be could you provide an example. Do I really have to map everything out? I find that it's hard to have clear goals seeing that the world is always changing and its dynamic state always makes me change my goals.

considering the tax structure in Aus, you might want to get out. Try Canada - close enough to the u.s. for you to get entrepreneurial without having all your $$ taken by the gov.

If you're looking for ideas on how to make $$, then here's one:

Take a trip to northern thailand, where they are known for their textiles (avoid Golden Traingle, further inland). Buy yourself bolts of cloth with unique designs and ship them back to Aus.

Before you go, call around to some designers and find potential buyers.

Or, take a trip to Guatemala, or elsewhere, buy native masks and textiles and sell to stores or put on consignment back home.

Oh, wait....you want to know how to plan. Well, besides motivation, you really need a high emotional intellegence to succeed. Whatever you do, getting ahead will require selling yourself, whether promotions or your business.

As for success, reflect upon what you really enjoy doing (besides wanking) and find a way to make money doing it. Like fine dining? Become a restaurant reviewer. Like smoking pot? Move to Normal and do what the locals do. You get the idea....


As for structure, write it like a business plan. Write your mission statement. Write your strategic and financial objectives. Make a list of your competitive advantages: what you do well. How will you achieve your objectives. Write out achieveable stretch goals. Do it for month 1 through 12, then for 18 months, 2 years, and for year 3-5.

Once you have your strategic and financial objectives on paper, you can track how you are doing and push yourself to meet those specific goals.

But you can always follow a basic structure, like write down the year, and make some goals for yourself and write them down, then find the ways to achieve those goals, write those down too, and then just execute.

Here are some basic things that imo everyone should do..

Read books, Exercise, Continue to improve, a peace of mind, control over your (subconcius) brain and a good personality. Now that you have these "basic" traits and skills, you can work yourself to and advanced stage, for example reading 50+ books or getting to 220 pounds or lifting xxx amounts of weight, learning more about your brain etc.
