plane ride...

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum but I think that it kicks a$$. I am 19 and tryin to get with a hottie that just started at my work. About a year ago I got my pilot's license to fly small planes, and I would like to take her up as maybe a first date or something. Most people I know really wanna come flying with me, so i think she would too, if she's interested in me(only met her once so far). Thing is, she doesn't even know I do that yet, so how should I ask her without coming across as if I was trying to hard to bring it up?

dude good on you for getting your PPL, I am coming upto my CPL flight test. Anyway I did the same thing you did a long long time ago. It was a night flight over the city as well. All I can say is she will say yes to your flight, but can be for a number of reasons

a)because she likes you or;
b)because you are taking her up flying or;
c)both

only way to figure out which one is first take her out on a normal date and getting the kissing and rubbing going on first before you take her up flying.

trust me on this one. chicks are suckers for guys who fly. once knew a girl who couldn't stop gushing over a guy who flew her on his plane.

well engage her in a normal conversation. then try to weave in the bit about you getting your license. "so what'd you like to do in your free time?" then when she asks you back start talking about planes slowly without appearing to be a pompous ass. then turn the conversation into a date request.

i bet you her interest level will soar after that date.

Hey deadly, Good luck on your Com Pilot flight test, i'm not there yet but workin on it. Can't wait, I'm sure you'll get it fine. As for both of you thanks for your replies. Yea I will see her this week and see if i can bring the topic up casually. I'll see where it leads and either ask her then to go up or ask her to go out first.

if you do take her up, make sure its at night and over the city. Trust me you will blow her away. And then take her out for dinner or for a drink or few and then straight back to her place or yours or in the backseat of the plane.

My flight school won't let private pilots go up at night alone(kind of a dumb rule but o well). I think I just need my instrument rating first, which I am working on, so it should be soon. So you think that I shouldn't go out with her first, just take her up in the plane first time we hang out? And defintely do the night flight? She asked me what I major in yesterday and I told her aviation...she seemed surprised and a little impressed, but then didnt seem to care too much after, but i'll see i guess

if you want you can take her up flying first. I think you need your night rating for a night flight. She will still love it even if you take her up during the day. Whatever you do dont let the date end at the end of the flight. Take her out for dinner or a drink. This is so the two of you can talk and get to know each other more. Because during the flight she will be more interested in the view. She will have the time of her life and this is the when the iron is hot and you have to hit it. Thats why I am insisting you take her out after the flight as well.

oh alright i get yah deadly...well if i dont get my ins. rating soon i will jus go during the day i guess. I would like to go at night more because i even think it would be more enjoyable then. I'll defintely make sure to keep the date goin after for some "post-flying activities" lol...well thanks again for your advice and let me know how your cpl test goes!

Why not just lie your ass off?
When I had my PPL I was flying an 737 .. chicks don't know ****, they would ask me a question and I would answer, what do they know? HAVE FUN WITH THIS...

But only Airline Pilots wear that nice uniform. Thats basically the difference..
LIE UR ASS OFF... if they ask you a aviation question, u should know it with your Commercial Knowledge.

not necessarily, you can be an instructor at a flying school and be required to wear an uniform too. But the airforce pilots have the best uniform.

Yah I could lie and say I fly jets haha...but then if I take her up i might have some explainin to do lol. O well, I think i can pull this one off, most people seem impressed by someone who flies any plane no matter what it is(of course a lil more if your flying jets!) I just figured I could use my passion to help attract chics, as it is something a little different to...I'll let you guys knowwhats up and thanks for all your replies

Since you want to be an airline pilot you must have the following.
PASSION
CONFIDENCE
MOTIVATION
INTELLIGENCE
AND VERY GOAL ORIENTED

THESE ATTRIBUTES WILL GET YOU THE CHICKS....

All pilots have this, I knew I wanted to be one since 3 yrs old...
Use these qualities to your advantage...attack females knowing who you are and what you want in life, nothing more attractive than that.

Pilot just makes you look even better.

Air pilot,
those are all definitely attributes I possess. In every area of my life I am confident, just sometimes I have a hrd time portraying that with women...basically the only thing I get nervous doing. I box and kickbox competitively, so all my boys say that I should be so confident around girls because I go through that sh!t everyday. For some reason it doesn't carry over. anyway, I am working on getting my confidence across to chicks, just havin a tough time. Oh well i'm gonan stop complainin boutthis now and keep tryin to step itt up.
