I decided to take a small break from lifting and today is 2 weeks since my last workout. I care for my Mom where I have to lift her which is dead weight of 140lbs.
Well yesterday one of the nurses that stopped by asked if I still worked out and I told him I have been taking a break the pass 2 weeks he responded and said it looks like you just been lifting recently as I look cut.
I am 6-3 235 been doing the big 3 for 3 years now and never felt I was cut until he mentioned this.
Now trying to piece it together I also wasn't getting the protein per body weight I had been consuming and actually felt I lost some size but the scale was the same but when I look in the mirror I don't see cut but I still see the bulk.
Is this normal to not see yourself as others might see you and surely is it possible to look cut when you've not even been doing high reps sets?
