Here's a few I tried on about half a dozen girls each yesterday, got some laughs but mostly awkward and terrified stares.

"Excuse me, but you got a really nice mouth," - followed up by "We should talk some more," or "can I get you something to drink?"

"What the **** are you lookin' at?"

"You look a little burnt, let me buy you something to drink"

All in good fun, then I got a few numbers winding down the night like a drunken **** at applebees.

I think that bold part of the statement is loud and clear to the chick(s) you were mackin on.

The whole what the *** are you lookin at thing, chicks don't respond well to a dirty mouth. Now if you had just said "what are you lookin at" with a raised eyebrow and a sly smile I dunno.

That all being said, props for actually going out and talking to these chicks instead of moping around wishing you did, keep it up. But keep in mind that you don't need to buy their attention, act like you are that thing in their life that they are missing. You are on the high ground cuz you are the selector, the hunter, they are the prey.

HOLY SHEET. Yes! Go up, say something relevent, it can be as simple as (like I have done in a movie store) have you seen ______ movie? 20 mins of convo later I had a #. Just do it. Play off her words, poke a little fun. Smile. Eyecontact you know the DRILL.

OP- Those lines sucked major balls. If you're getting nervous, always make sure you have a starter to fall back on, even if it's not that good.

For example if I can't think of ANYTHING ELSE to say (which is rare) I'll say either

1) you look like you're having a good day

or

2) you look like you're having a bad day

it just depends on their expression. While it isn't genius it beats the living hell out of "What the hell are you looking at?"

this one dude i knew in high school told me to use this pickup line on one of our customers, but i never used it: "you look ok, give me your number before I change my mind." I told him I don't think it would work. Later on he told me one of his friends used it and hooked up w/a girl.

Hey everyone is throwing up threads about the wonderful magic trick you can pull, I thought I'd try and lighten things up a little bit.

To those that are hating, I don't know what your problem is, but don't take your frustration out on me

Pick up lines aren't gonna get the whole job done, but if you don't have balls to start a conversation, there's nothing that can help you.

I had a blast last night, don't need to bag every girl you see to have a succesful night.
