Picking Up Customers

I work in a gas station at a major grocery chain and there are alot of hot women that come through my place. It seems like most are in the mindset of wanting to get their stuff and not to be hit on. I am wondering when you are dealing with a customer as a cashier would it be a good idea to try to do a # close? Or could this seriously cause me to lose my job? Also are there any good quick conversation topics that I could bring up. Since they are usually in my line for less than two minutes?

Doesnt matter, when or where, JUST DO IT man... If its someone u saw for the first time, run outside and say
"I am sorr to have run outside like this, its just I have never seen anyone as beutifull as you, and I would love to take you to dinner... She pauses.. Let me just get your number for now cause I have to get back to work and I will call and talk to you about it later"

If it is a be-back (someone that you see comming in over and over) say
"Hey, you come here often, (she smiles or says something) Hey, I was thinking, I drove by this restarent and It looks like they might have good food, lets go grab something to eat there sometime"

I work retail and I never hit on the customers. Flirt like hell, but never close them or anything like that. I can just imagine someone reporting it to my boss and getting my ass fired for something I can do in my spare time.
Plus, they're at the store to get some groceries or gas or whatever, not to get hit on, like you said.

However, it's not like I give a sh1t enough about my clown-show job not to flirt with every single attractive girl I work with, date several, and nail a few. So what if I get a bad rep, it's a temporary job.
