Hey guys,
It just seems to me as someone newly single that picking up girls in the street/bank/cafe is a way better strategy than internet dating.
Say a reasonably attractive girl puts up a profile on dating site and lives in a reasonably big city. How many messages do you think she will get in her first week? 100? 200?
In contrast, how many times does the girl in the cafe/bank/street get asked out by a total stranger in a week? I´m guessing hardly ever, maybe 10 times a week at most if we are talking about asking a girl out rather than just flirting.
So shouldnt we get our courage up and avoid the cheesy dating websites? If you only asked out girls in the street you would get used to rejection far better than simply not getting a message in your inbox.
in terms of numbers, the street offers far less competition and far greater mystery. Also, asking a girl out in front of strangers shows way more confidence than an email ever will and its one way to make an impression rather than a "witty" email title in her overflowing inbox.
Who´s with me...
