I've been creating photoshop art for a couple of months and I've put two of my favorites on deviant art. I thought I would show them to you guys.

Showdown: Good Vs. Evil
This one started out as just a picture of one of my friends walking up a hill near my house.

Lilith
This is the eye of a young woman that I got from deviant art's stock photos section.

I'd appreciate your critiques and If anyone is interested in learning some of the techniques for photoshop just let me know.

It's really not that hard, it's more about knowing in what order to do things and what different parts of the program can do. The "Lilith" photo is probably one of the easiest kind of photos to do because it's mostly textures.

I got my version from LimeWire :D . You can find tutorials on how to do just about anything on line. Deviant Art has a lot of stuff and you can get a lot of photos to use from there. It's also a good place to look for inspiration. Oh, about the pics I took the one on the hill myself, the other came from deviant art.

ZBrush looks awesome. I'm glad you told me about it. I hope I can use it though, I find wireframes frustrating.

It's a lot of fun...and you'll enjoy it alot. Download the demo and play around with it. You can actually re-shape things you've made and it's 3D. Very cool...

I'll do that. I've tried experimenting with 3D Studio Max and Maya but it was way too complex. I've been wanting to create 3D art for a long time. That's why I work with photoshop.

ZBrush is pretty easy to use...just play around with the brushes and other stuff and you should find it pretty easy to use.
