i am still a learning dj and ive gotten past the step of getting numbers. The thing is I don't know how to ask for a date, should i ask for one the first time i call? My second question once you start talking to a girl how often should you call, like day wise. i know your not supposed to call everyday but how often should you call, and how long should conversations be? im stuck at the next stage please help me fellow djs!

I went out last weekend and hung out with my friend's two (girl) friends and a couple people. Just bascially met the one girl that night she was with another guy at the time not steady though. Then just went out last night hung out and she really seemed to be into me. We had great conversations and i got a number from her. I told her i would give her a call and she seemed excited about that. Do i call today since she "may" be expecting me too or still wait the 3-5 days before calling her up and asking her out on a date? Normally i would wait the 3 days but i dont want her to think im not interested or lied or something since i had been drinking that night.

3-5 days seems a bit long to me. What's wrong with calling in like 1 day or something? I think that if you don't care too much about how people might perceive it and just be a little more confident in yourself, it shouldn't be a problem. The only reason it seems to me that you wait 3-5 days is if you're too busy worrying about looking like you're desperate, and to me, it doesn't always come off that way. It can be annoying waiting for a call for that long, especially if she's expecting it, and if you wait, she might just get annoyed and say no.

I'm siding with becker on this one. Some girls get turned off when you wait three days and it was strongly implied if not agreed that you would call the next day, that's just being a jack@$$ imo. On the other hand, if you just got the number and nothing was said about calling the next day you should probably wait. If it's saturday, then wait until tuesday.

Just do whatever the hell u want to do, dont go and be more "right by the rules" because it will get you in the end. Just do whatever you think feels natural. Every girl knows about the waiting to call **** and everything taught here. You should just be your own person and do what makes you happy. If you want to call after a day because YOU HAD A GOOD TIME ON THE DATE! then call her if you want because if you don't call her she may think that you are some kind of prick and hang up on you. Either way just do what ever makes you happy because in the end thats all that really matters.

Call a day or two before you want to take her out. IE if you want to take her out on Thursday, call on Wednesday or Tuesday. That way you have a better chance of actually turning that number into a DATE because they know their schedule better and are thus less likely to flake. Fvck challenge and desparation. Try to have the mindset that a phone number is just a way to get in contact with a girl. Calling women shouldn't be such a big deal.
