shaking and trembling
the feeling of anger
regreat is on the outside
GOSH shes a banger
denying in my head
all my thoughts of confidence dead
did i ever have any in the first place?
shes walking with grace
shes walking like a goddes
WAIT!!
SHE TRIPPED
she ****ts
she crys
lieng to myself benieth my peaking eyes
did she look
was that a sign
her leg was at a 90 degree angle at that time

This is a terrible poem. "All my thoughts of confidence are dead"? "Did she look, was that a sign"? Come on, we get enough AFC crap from the media every day. The stuff you post here should inspire people to be better DJs.

[Smooth as Anything]

Accross the room I see the object;
merely an object of course
not to be considered anything majestic;
merely a body of which is opposite to mine

from the distance of which i view;
with full lack of contemplation and ponder
i swiftly venture over to see if my desire;
is worth the effort of communication

as i approach i laugh as to what i have found;
a young boy! throwing away his pride
for this women of whom i see no beauty;
beyond the makeup along her face

so indeed i ignore this women;
taking the young man away
Why do you make this women feel special?
You see one like her everyday!

To me he responded that she was different
and i laughed again for how stupid he was
"If she's not in your family, she's not special"
to this he had no response

i went home that day
with that attractive lady's number
and that young boy
he went home with a tear in his eye
not because she rejected him
no, because he rejected himself onto her

Go easy on him gflash, it simply sounds like you interpreted it wrong.

Sure, there is afc stuff in the beginning, but then as it concludes it's pretty clear that he is remembering what he has learned in becomming a DJ.

After all of the panic and anxiety has been built, it all becomes clear. He remembers the DJ advice. He remembers that she sh!ts, cries, acts just like everyone else, and that she's human too. It concludes with him screwing the fear, and he no longer really cares. A very DJ outlook.

I don't mean to be a jack@ss, but phayzrks, this is not the DJ outlook. It is, if anything, an illustration of why you should use the 3 second rule. If you had just moved your body towards the girl as soon as you saw her, you wouldn't of thought all those negative thoughts, and your sarge would have been better executed.

I was never a big fan of poetry, maybe there's some artistic quality of this that I'm missing.
