I've been having a shiitty state of mind lately, and this started to affect my interaction with others. I have noticed that some people almost stopped caring about what I say and even start to talk over me.

How would you approach this?

You're probably feeling down and lacking the confidence in what you're saying. Plus there is such a thing as "anticipated response." If you're anticipating that you're gonna be interrupted or that nobody's gonna care, you'll be communicating this in some way and people will buy into that frame without even knowing it.

If you think you're low-value, people aren't gonna go out of their way to argue against that. They'll act accordingly.

Wow I just recovered from a situation similar to yours. Don't worry it's okay to have lapses of confidence in this journey to greatness. Just remember what you have set out to achieve for yourself in life and do it diligently. For me, my goal is to turn from scrawny to brawny in 6 months. Even something as simple as hitting the gym when I needed to made me took pride in what I do. With that pride comes confidence. With confidence comes respect.

Just take your mind off what you're dealing with right now. Right now you're being REACTIVE by allowing your state of mind to manifest itself in your social situations, be PROACTIVE instead and focus on regaining your mojo. Focus on your goals and work on them NOW! Confidence will come naturally and you'll be out of this soon enough. This journey is tough but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Best of luck.
