people just like yourself?

Is it true that people that are just like yourself will be harder to get along with beause of how your personalities clash?

I have heard this to be true. I am inclined to agree with this because most people that are exactly like myself. I have not been able to get along with the people.

I'm not talking about a person similar, but exactly the same.

I am able to get along with almost everyone that has different resemblences, but the people that are exactly like me. I have a problem getting to know or anything.

This is not a cop out post for not getting along with someone, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.

PS: After thinking about it, I suppose it was because I like to be the leader of the group, while the other person tries to be the leader. That creates friction and problems for both of us. i suppose that is something that it has to do with. I'm still interested in your guys answers.

Man, I haven't met a single person like me. For my age, I am exponently more advanced in just about everything. For the note though, I'll talk to anyone. I've become a social machine, because people see I can open anyone, and then I open other people beside them....and it gets nuts.

depends on what type of personality you are. Me, I wouldn't be able to get along with another one of me.....i'm too arogant and self centered.

depends on how much you know your self, and how much you love yourself (things about you)

I almost always butt heads with someone with a very similar personality to me. One of my female friends' boyfriend acts almost exactly like me (confident, independent, and a sarcastic sense of humor), except he's a little ****ier and arrogant. When you got us two together almost every exchange was like some lame AMOG-fest, each one of us vying for the upper hand on the other one.
