Since breakup with gf 5 or 6 months ago I've been very dedicated to working out. I can only get there 2x per week, but with my rather slow recovery rate, it works. I've been getting noticed by a lot of broads who were indifferent to me before.

My pecs are lagging behind. I werigh 230 but only can bench approx. 255 right now. My tris are stronger than guys who bench 80-100lbs more than I do (I french pressed 90 pounds 9 times on Sunday) but my chest is lagging behind, visibly, even though it's what I value the most.

Suggestions?

well i hope with working 2x a week ur doing full body workout each day, then that would be fine. Are you sure your not working your chest TOO much? if not, then you should try a 3 day split, one workout every 2 days. Chest tris abs
back bis forearms legs shoulders, and on those restdays you can do pull ups and pushups and situps and leg lifts and bodysquats, just not intense, enough to get a small small burn. That has done wonders for me.

Are you working your back? Your chest cant get any bigger if your lats are lagging, work those lats man. In your chest workout do DIPS, flat bench, INCLINE bench ( important) and some flys, then its all good, DONT OVERTRAIN, eat well rest well good luck

You know you don't have to lift a lot to put on muscle mass right? If you want advice for pec development. Squats and deadlifts.

Paused bench if your tris are stronger than your chest. 2 sec pause at the bottom, 3 x 5
