I have an old friend... a few people might have heard of him.. he goes by the nick of The Player.. from Becomeaplayer.com

Although TP has very strong outer game.. he loves Passive Openers..

What is that you might ask?

It is anything you can have or do that will get people to open you..

especially hot babes..

I used to do things that would get people to open me.. like lit numchuku displays at clubs.. of course everyone wanted to meet me after the performance, including hot babes.

Other examples of a Passive Openers would be a T-Shirt with a ****y Statement.. that is bound to get a response from the ladies. Here is a good one I used:

"Playboy Scout" on the front

"Inquire if you have what it takes" on the back

or

"Hot or Not?"

"Get your Free Appraisal" on the back

Could also be a belt buckle that gets a lot of attention.

TP has a huge list up somewhere of the best...

What is your best Passive Opener?

That shirt comment made me want to reply. I have a shirt that says "EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE" on the back of it, and have had a few girls open me asking "what does that mean?" It's from a restaurant back home, so I usually have to explain that since the name is on the front, but it makes things easier when she is the one opening you and having to keep your attention.

As much as Mystery polarizes opinions here, the idea of peacocking can be just that simple. Have something small that will act as a conversation starter. You don't need to look like a clown and wear goggles in the club, but the idea itself is sound. You just have to have the game to take things from that starting point, otherwise your "piece of flair" is wasted.

Peacocking which I am very familiar with since the term was coined in the North.. not necessarily by Mystery who used to share the same venues as us..

is not the same as Pasive Openers although Peacocks can be PO's.

Like I tried to explain PO's aren't just about clothing.. they could be skills, they could be presentations, they could be roles.. they could be anything that ellicits response.

If anything Peacock's are a sub category of Passive Openers..

What have you worn or done that ellicits responses...

I usually had custom made shirts not t-shirts.. it was part of my originality.. I also created Lifestyle systems.. which we won't go into now.. that expounded high value and required normal effort.

Although you did bring up a very good Passive Opener.. Emotionally Unavailable is a great Test 3 Challenge.

Who else has a great Passive Opener..

I have one shirt that has writing all blurry on it and girls always ask "what does it say" and I respond with "Your guess is as good as mine" Then they often stare at my chest, which I then say "You know staring at my chest isnt very polite" Often they laugh and I go into the whats your name blah blah blah routine. Its a great way to meet women without even trying. Only con is often guys ask what does my shirt say too. :S

Yeah I'm not saying it's just about peacocking, but it can be an important type of passive opener. What do you mean by Test 3 Challenge?
