what do u consider mature?

would a man who is 40 mature if he cant show up to work on time or hold a job?

Im going to assume that you guys must believe life expierence is the only way to maturity.

how can some members here be considered mature when they personally attack wyldfire?

grown MEN attacking a women over the internet because they dont agree with her? is that mature?

if maturity means being old with life expierence then my father who abandoned his children, beat his wife, beat his kids..and is a low life loser must be mature he is 43 with life experience.

or is it someon who works hard, shows up to work on time, always self improving, is a man of of his word, helps other around him and is reliable...then id be mature.

im sure your going to delete this before arguements insue..but id like to see the arguements that come with this..if you prove to me that im inmature then I will leave...

Good points in maturity and immaturity. Life experience does weigh in on a lot of things. One sure-fire sign is a man marrying a woman who is about to have his kid, a definite sign of maturity there. Not marrying her, a sign of immaturity.

I am marrying her in May..even though Im a little worried..well I wouldnt say worried more like HOLY SHYT....but I love her so she is worth it.

ive been working OT to start getting the finaces together for a place to live and the baby....the biggest drawback of this is that I have to put off my classes next semester till august so I can work OT or a second job..I make good money but I want there to be a lot of money saved up incase of emergencies.

but having a child is an amazing thing..it made me grow up more in a month then I did in the 5 previous yrs

Good for you. Nice to hear some responsibility coming off this site instead of "I'm the biggest pimp the world ever saw" (i.e. main board).

to me, a truly mature individual would be just like friv!

a kid in his early 20s who thinks he has life figured out, a preggo g/f, and the constant need to validate himself by posting all this BS on here..

seriously though, maturity is BS. I thought i was "real mature" when i was 15, then i grew up and realized that thinking about maturity levels is pretty much a dead giveaway of how immature an individual truly is.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

It's fun too! A veritable flying circus of fun!

She's no more than a information-terrorist/man hater. There is no reason to treat such a creature civily.

I would post but its useless for me to post . . .

because this is just another post that will be deleted. I have given up on trying to post here with some kind of intelligence. It seems like anything posted here by myself is worthless to the administrative staff (no complaints but when I make a post that agrees with members of the mature man's forum and it gets deleted. I must ask the question. "Why?" when it agreed with the so called "mature men").

I am done with this although I'm going to leave you with these quotes from Survivor, the original moderator, who didn't have a huge problem with the younger generation.

Look at how high and mighty some of you are acting. This sense of aristocracy may be an unforeseen byproduct of bringing back the "mature" forum that I didn't think would occur, but apparrently it has occurred.
I was hoping that this new forum would serve as a haven for that; mature posters reinterpreting "DJ Bible" principles such that it applies to real life issues and not the fantasies that newbies create in their minds. But if all we're going to do here is b!tch and moan about the other forums, then maybe bringing back the "Mature Man" forum wasn't such a good idea after all.
These are the original mod, survivors, quotes. Not mine. If you don't believe me you can go to
Main DJ board has gone south . . .

Oh and btw I never thought of maturity levels until I started getting hunted down for being "immature."

comic_relief and hopefully people will get to read it.

This will be the most trying time of your life youngbrother. Shatting out a kid does not inherently make one mature. Foregoing your own needs for the sake of your child and dedicating yourself to him/her do. You'll find that by watching Maurys' paternity test shows.

You're on your way . . .Congrats

i write bad english but use translator for some thing.

look i say maturity is experience. you can be 40 but still a virgin like in movie. maturity is hard to find on this site even.

guy like mroriginal tell me he is not virgin but he make thread to say adriana lima is most hot women alive. why he put so much important on girl he never meet?

he virgin. he not mature. maturity have no to do with age only experience.

i guess most person on this site have no experience. that why they delete my good tips and posts. i am too mature.
Stop hi-jacking threads with your BS.

Frivoulous,

You're seeking validation, but you don't need it. Perhaps you've outgrown this place. You're a man now. No need to ask.

I dont believe in marriage. Does this make me immature if i dont marry a woman who is having my child?

Your logic is flawed.

of course it makes you immature! negative too!

why can't you be mature and positive like friv and get some girl you barely dated for 6 months pregnant??

now THATS true maturity!

What happend to the maturity discussion... Turned into immaturity.

Maturity is like the term "Being a man" or the word intelligence, so may things rolled into one idea that it is hard to define a clear definition or even conceptual idea of maturity.

I believe that maturity is having learned how to deal with your world approriatly.

AFc's are not mature because they have learnt thier idea's of the world from "beauty and the beast" and thier newly divorced mothers who tell them "All men are evil pigs" (ok ok im exaggirating)

Real men know the sacrafice, hard work, pain, long unbearable days and hardships life has and though it all they never stop slow down or give in and cry like an afc would.

I've known men who have had immediate familly die (one guy who's wife died) and they still got up, shaved and whent to work. He still looked after his kids like before, he still loved them with every breath in his body after having the thing which he held dear ripped out of his life. That is maturity, that is being a man. Patience also is part of maturity. I can't remember who wrote the post "Patience - Mark of a diamond player" but it's not a quality of a player to have patience, mature people are patient with the things they want for no other reason than because you have to be in life with the things you really want.

Maturity is being a man. Often (especially nowadays with all the material and information crap we're inflicted with) people need a real push to grow up. I think afc's aren't afc's because they are usless with women (contradiction i know), but because they haven't or refuse to grow up because of the pain of it.
Listen to what Pook says about women; "Be a man" <--- the post which should of ended sosuave, take risks, improve youself, "Endure", fail till you succeed. This isn't being "Alpha male of the universe" or being a "jerk" <--- (Btw that what girls call boys who aren't they're little *****es lol When litlle girls realise real men don't let themselfs get walked all over or "fall in love" after 2 months) it's about growing up and too a certain extent excepting life

Being an afc is more about being immature and young then with being feminised (of course young boys are).

To sum up...

I believe that maturity is having learned how to deal with your world approriatly.

Sorry I ranted, I could've gone on but I was on a roll for abit.

This is exactly why maturity is so unpopular.

Granted, in the past, a man had to choose between this and death, which made maturity inevitable. Today, however, this is no longer the case. Advancements in technology, and the changes in the culture that they trigger, have enabled men to reduce and even eliminate these things from their lives. This has destroyed Nature's commandment to maturity that men of the past lived under - it has become possible to deal with your world by retreating from it.

Since Man now has a choice between maturity and immaturity, if he is to be made to choose maturity, then not only is maturity going to need something to offer him, it's going to have to do better than immaturity's cheap pleasures ... and do so in spite of everything Muay Thai mentioned.
