It's getting harder and harder to come to this forum. The majority of the topics posted here are just painful to look at. But I guess that comes with time and my darkening views of women.
The majority of posts here revolve around the infamous topic called women. Being confident, mysterious, using technique #232, being aloof all focus on the woman even though the posts try to pass them off as "self-improvement".
Pook and Anti-Dump said something like "The focus should be on YOU!" Yes! Put the focus on us! Focus on the Men! I mention these posters because they have inspired me with their ideas and visions about Men. Some of us (I hope all) have this inner vision of ourselves being the Man we're supposed to be. It is time to start on that journey if you haven't already.
So let us put the focus on Men.
I present to you a simple challenge.
I ask, "What have you always wanted to do?" Skydive? Build a hotrod? Catch a greased pig?
Your answer may vary, but my response is the same: Do it! Find a way to get it done! Take baby steps if you have to, just no excuses. If you took the same amount of time you have devoted to this site to doing the things you've always wanted to do, you'd be that much closer to the point I'm trying to convey. You may not succeed at first, but as long as you keep trying you'll get it done. Failure is when you stop trying and give up.
I know this post is short, and some may prefer a long, detailed explanation complete with hypothesizes and theories. But as Men, our strengths lie in action, not words. It is my hope that you will take up my challenge, accomplish it, and take up the next thing you've always wanted to do. After a while, you'll actually believe you can do anything you set your mind to....because you can.
You were given a responsibility when you were born to become a Man.
Do not forget the Men of ages past who paid their dues with blood, sweat, and tears so that humanity is still in existence today. It is unacceptable to let their efforts be in vain.
Now it is our turn.
