Yup, you heard right...I'm 130lbs and lifting to bulk, but how about some methods to get faster, stronger, and more endurant as opposed to just bigger (and with that, stronger)? Every weekend (though I had a bit of a hurricane problem this weekend so I couldn't), I go down to the beach and swim a half-mile down to a pier and run back, and up the distance each time...I don't know if it does me any good but it sure as hell is enjoyable...any reactions?

Swimming is a cardiovascular activity. Overtime you'll plateau unless you increase the speed you swim, or the length of the swim.

He said he ups the distance each time. That should be sufficent to break a plateu if he gets to one.
