so here's what happened and left me clueless:
i went out to eat with my dad tonight. we get to the restaurant and there is a cute girl (hb 8) waiting to seat us. i walk up to her, tell her how many we have and that we'd prefer non-smoking.
she looks at me and tells me that they might have one non-smoking table but she'd have to look. she asks me if we'd take a smoking table if that was the only choice. i tell her that we'd take the smoking but check to see if there's a non-smoking table first.
during the short convo, we have good eye contact and smiling on both of our parts.
after she gets done checking, she comes back to us. she talked talking again, but everytime she made eye contact, it was with my dad. he's not a bad looking guy, but he is 60+ yrs old! he didnt say a word to the chick ever, yet she was continually addressing him when she spoke, over me.
i showed alpha traits: walked right up to her, told her what i wanted, and gave her good EC. what went wrong?? did she just find me unattractive or what?? doesnt make any sense...
