Option To Choose Page Number At Index.

Hey Allen.

I visited DDRFreak.com and saw their forums. They let you choose which page you want to go to at the index, instead of having to load page 1 before you're able to click on page 2's link.

Maybe that would make things simpler for slow dialup users and even save some server bandwidth?

It's a good idea, but this software doesn't allow that.

I may change bb software in the future. I've given it some thought but, I don't know, I kind of like the simplicity of this forum. A lot of the newer bbs have lots of extra features, but also look very cluttered and are especially confusing to newbies.

Well I would say simplicity is the way to do things online, rather than have pages only viewable by broadband.

That page number thing doesn't really mess up the forums. It just adds convinience.

Its especially useful when there's a hot debate going on, and people can keep themselves updated on the latest messages instead of following the link first.

Heck, I may be lazy.. but it gets to us all sometimes, doesn't it?

Anyway, no rush. Just a suggestion. Tell me if you're updating the software.
