Only four of six.....abs

I do sit ups and leg raises, though not completely rounded, i seem to have a problem workin my, or seeing any results, on my lower stomach, seems its only the top four of my six back that is usually apparent.
what can i do to get everything???

Lower your body fat levels.

4packs/6packs/8packs, are all about body fat. (gosh that sounded like I talking about cans of cokes lol)

I've seen a link somewhere.. that shows a guy's progression from 20% to 6% bf.
I'll see if I can find it.

i have the same thing, except an extra pack under the 4 on top

I just looked it up in my AFAA book.

The reason the abs look like 6 individual parts is because of tendons cutting across the abs and anchoring in the center of the rectus sheath. This makes up the sections. Otherwise the rectus is pretty much a solid muscle.

Sometimes there are 3 cuts per side creating a 6pack. Sometimes there are 2. There are almost always enough to see a 6 pack but the amount of bodyfat needed to see the lower 2 wouldn't be conducive to having a body you could keep for an extended period IE: being on a BBer preshow final day kind of deal. I know personally I have a 6 pack, not an 8 pack.

Is is how some BBers have abs that have 3 on one side and 4 on another. It's genetics.

Post a pic and we will be able to see if it is because of bodyfat, or if you just have 4 sections. My bet would be that you just have high bodyfat or a genetic tendency to carry weight there.

OP: That's probably how your fat deposits, or you need to continue losing fat. Abs are a bodyfat % game.
