Online poker

I have injured my back and am basically out of commission for a while. So i decided to start playing poker again online. Ive played on and off for 3 years usually making $60 deposits, and eventually losing it. ill win a game than lose 2, win a game than lose 2.........and the patten continues..... I usually play sit and goes with buy ins of $4-$20. I have heard of alot of friends who have had great success online. I play at Full Tilt. I dont know if i should be playing tournaments, heads up, llmit no limit. Have any of you guys had success?

I've had success playing poker but I don't have much success playing online. I'm a much better live player, playing at Casinos. I'm also a cash game player, I suck at tournaments.

I'd suggest reading some books, Harrington on Holdem is regarded in poker circles as the premiere series of books. I'd look into bankroll management as well. However making an income of poker as a hobby takes alot of work & its an investment of your time and money. Its not something that you can just jump into.

Look at joining some poker communities / forums. Do a google search, two plus two is a popular forum. Its a game that you constantly have to learn & adapt to be successful.

Come up with a plan and record your progress.

i've always lost my deposits playing poker online. Probably in total to the tune of $1000. Problem is you just get bored too quickly, and end up losing knowing u can play again. go to the casino and play some poker w/ some people, and its a lot different

It is rigged. I don't think you will win any money there! I am speaking from experience, tho I never put in cash. View magic619 videos's on youtube. There are also many websites that will tell you the exact same thing as I am saying (with a lot of testimonials). They apparentely rig for action, and sometimes they will mislead you with a good hand so you can loose to someone who has an even better hand (their bot who never speaks!). I spent days and days researching this, just for the heck of it, I may as well share it with others. I'm not saying I'm right, but I think I am haha. I'm just saying what I think, if you disagree, that's fine for me, I won't even debate this haha. I'm just trying to let you know, at least for you to research it before you put money in there. Whatever you do, good luck tho.

PS: There's even a book out there that teaches you how to read their system, which apparentely you can do. There are some clues or whatever, based on where you are sitting in, etc. Not recommending you to do this, co to these websites that will give you free 50 bucks. But beware of this too, expect anything from them, that's what I say.
