okay, so this girl who's really interested in me got me a tie for christmas, and i lost it that same day, and it hasn't been found since. I'm normally a very tidy guy but dam what a unfortunate event. Now i know she'll eventually find out either way because next time i take her out, she would be really fond if i sport it. So the question is, should i tell her now, or let it drag out and hope she eventually forgets about it. This women is somewhat worth my time, and i would hate for our fling to end because of this smh!

I would just be honest. I've seen too many movies where a stupid lie turns into a huge ordeal. Its not like you did something wrong. Shyt gets lost. It happens. Tell her about it apologetically.

If not, just wear something that the tie wouldn't go with.

Uhh, dude, you do what you'd do with any other tie in this situation. You say you couldn't find it. No big deal. I guess if you really need an excuse you could wear an outfit that wouldn't go with that tie anyway.
