From what I've been hearing on social occasions or reading relationship columns down under... but I guess it's the same in other Western countries.
It used to be "40s is the new 30s", "still attractive at 30-something, 40-something", etc. You know, older women thinking they "still got it!!!" despite the extra fat, the wrinkles, the plummeting fertility and excessive baggage.
Now the latest is that they're thinking they're actually more attractive now (in their 30s and 40s) than they were in their 20s and teenage years.

No doubt that some older women have looked after themselves well and are still attractive, but more so than their younger years?
