All right. Unless either Oklahoma of USC wins by a blowout, there will be 3 undefeated college football teams with legitimate claims to the #1 spot.

The case for Auburn: won toughest conference, as judged by the # of teams in bowl games and how they did in their bowl games.

The case for Utah: obliterated everybody on their schedule, which included 5 teams that played in bowl games. Not a single close game of the lot. 2 touchdowns was their closest call. Beat Pitt 35-7 without even scoring in the 4th quarter. I think their average margin of victory throughout the year was about 45-16, which was about what they beat bowl-bound North Carolina by.

Let's see what happens when Oklahoma plays USC.

Obviously, the only way to settle it would have been one more game after a playoff with those 4 teams.

Exactly where I want to be.
You know what would be fun? If they scrapped the amazingly retarded BCS rankings and went with a playoff scheme. Personally, I think that would be way more accurate as to the best team in the nation.

A lot of it seems to ride on your previous position the year before. Hell, finish the year #1 or even #2 or #3 and go through the season without a loss then what would be the point of taking you down a ranking? For some people you might want to debate this and whatnot, but seriously - Fvck the BCS. Go playoffs, let everyone duke it out and lets see who rises to the top.

I digress...I guess my overall pick would be Auburn, but that's just me. We'll see, I guess.

Well, I suppose that makes a strong case for USC, eh? (chuckling)

But I still have to wonder if Utah couldn't keep up with 'em and/or Auburn's super-stingy defense couldn't contain them. We'll never know...

Congrads to the Trojans.... Pac-10 baby!!!

Still gripping about the Bruin's loss to Wyoming.

It would be nice if Texas, Utah, Auburn, and USC played in a Final Four to decide the National Champion.

[EDIT] USC is....
6-2-1 against Oklamhoma all-time,
4-0 against Texas all-time,
6-3 against Utah all-time,
and 2-1 against Auburn all-time.

Looks like each team has something to prove.

I hate the BS system I mean BCS system.....

It's raised teams that lost their bowl games and lowered teams that won. And Oklahoma is still number 2?!?!?!?

Oklahoma above Utah?

Both teams played Texas A&M, and Oklahoma narrowly won, while Utah beat A&M rather easily.

I'd love to see Utah play Auburn, and the winner take on USC.

Most any year I can recall one more game would do it.

I hate to tell you this, but that really proves nothing.

Those two games were played on two different days. Texas A&M had two different mentalities in those games.

On Sept. 2, TAMU wasn't ranked and it was their first game. A lot of college teams get off to a shaky start on their first game....remember, there's no preseason.

On Nov. 6, TAMU was ranked #22, and came off wins against Clemson, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State.

It's raised teams that lost their bowl games and lowered teams that won. And Oklahoma is still number 2?!?!?!?
Ummm....what??

Oklahoma is ranked third in both the AP and the ESPN/USA Today polls.

If you mean Oklahoma is still number 2 in the BCS polls, that's because it isn't updated to reflect the bowl games. It's just there to choose who plays in the title game.

Still..... even with all this.... I think Utah is very overrated.

A&M also lost to Baylor who came from behind to win.

Who wins what game means nothing
