Ok to tell a girl?

Here's this situation

This girl i met back in October of 2010 invited me to a wedding this past weekend. Before the wedding we've only hungout 3 or 4 times but talk or text everyday. At the wedding reception she was out having a good time and so was I. On the bus back to the hotel she hands me her shoes and purse and says holds this, she then stood up the whole bus ride home talking to everyone but me. The bus drops us off at the hotel for people to get to bed or take it to 6th street. She got off but didnt make it back on, we meet back up she's pretty heated but i try and make it seem cool. She just wasnt having it. we made it back to the hotel and she took off inside. I was chilling outside with one of her friends and her date and I called her twice and couldnt find her. I took a cab back to our hotel and didnt come get her till 11:30 the next morning. She says she's not mad at me or anything, but I just dont feel like I want to talk to this girl for awhile.


So is it ok to tell her "due to somethings i have going on right now, it might be a bit before i can talk" or should i just completely ignore her?

Don't go suddenly NC on her, it'll seem you're a petty overlysensitive guy, just reduce contact gradually. Any comment to inform her will only show that you're butthurt over this small incident. Why are you talking and texting with this girl every day? Did I miss the part of the story where you said she's your wife, and the mother of your kids?

There's nothing that kills attraction faster than being too available. And you sir, are way too available.

I also messed up i guess by allowing her to use my hotel points for 5 free nights when she goes to ny at the end of the month. She's probably rates a 6 in the looks department, but a 10 in the personality. Her father is a complete douche to her, and she choses not to talk to him at all. She told me her gma made a compliment to her that she will grow to be an old maid, never marry. Her closest friends were telling me that they feel there is a side of her they dont even know. She is friends with some guys (they all have chicks) I work with and they invited her to come to colorado this september for a 10 day trip, she will be riding with me so I dont know what I can do between now and then to make it where she's out of my head. In all I feel like i have been sprung over something i've never had and just cant seem to move over the speed bump in the road

Then don't talk to her.

But don't phone her and spend 10 min explaining to her that you are too busy making millions to talk to her, that kind of defeats your purpose.

Well you only posted this 5 days go, and you've been talking to this waste of a woman every day since October 2010. So, yeah, it might take more than 5 days to "let go".

Actually, you know how long it'll take? It'll take until you start talking to other women. Not dating them...I don't want to put too much pressure on you. But talking. You realize that there are other girls to flirt with. And then you'll realize how replaceable these women are....and maybe THEN you'll realize that it's your life, and women aren't everything.

This is the part that bothers me. Never let a girl speak to you like that! You should've told her "I'm not your slave" or "hold them yourself". It sounds like she's a bit of a prima dona to me and you're wise to cut contact for a while...maybe permanently, unless she changes her attitude.

But in answer to your question, don't tell her what you plan to do. Just cut contact for a few days and if she asks just tell her you're a bit busy at the moment, then continue cutting contact.
