Just after I came out of my marriage, I met a woman shortly after separating from my wife and we had a couple of dates ,she knew I was not quite single but she showed plenty of interest and we kept in touch,.
After my divorce was through I phoned her and we chatted and had a laugh but she called me her boomerang.
I texted her around 2 days later and told her I was her boomerang no more.

5 days after this occurred she texted me several times asking what I was up to etc I told her about some date I had been on and kept things short answering her other questions but only with short replies.
Now today this is now a week on from her last contact with me she texts me ..

Just a quick ello and goodbye. I am having a spring clean of my phone contacts and I'm afraid your for the bin lol, nothing personal just deleting
people who I never see or speak to from my past. Hope you find your special lady be happy my little boomerang,maybe or paths will cross again one day who knows take care ...


I would like to see her again, one I was prob developing oneitis and she knew it hence the boomerang term.
But what is a good response.,Without losing face

So you originally asked you out and she turned you down? The boomerang thing....not sure what that was about....

Now you've shown you're not interested in her and she's trying to get you to ask her out again.....? Probably so she can turn you down again I'm assuming.

If she wants to go out with you she should ask you now, since she originally turned you down.

She's trying to get a reaction out of you so I'd ignore it. Then keep ignoring her until she says something meaningful like apologizing for her immature behavior.

She's fishing for a reply of some sorts. I don't know why you didn't just set up a date already. Things don't look too keen at this point, so you may as well go down in flames. Wait a few days, and on Friday ask her to do something Saturday. Make sure it is something "you'll already be doing" so it doesn't seem like a loss on your part if she says no.

If she doesn't reply, gives a büllṣhit answer or whatever, who cares. Then you'll be certain she's just toying for your attention without a scope.
