OK guys i need help :-)

I rang two girls tonight. Girl one and Girl two. G2 i'm really into, and G1 less so.

G1 I was fine with. I acted in a calm and friendly manner, and was able to drop in C+F throughout the convo - even managed to set up a date despite her having a boyfriend. First time I've had the cajones to ask a girl out. And talking to her ws a massive ego boost. Nice girl.

G2 I was a bloody bumbling idiot with. Awkward pauses, forced conversation. Although I did get her number (was ringing her on her home phone - got her cell) - she made a string of excuses about why we couldn't hook up this week. I know she likes me - so this might be salvageable. But my main concern is that I made an idiot out of myself in regards to first impresions.

I know ultimately I should have the balls to make this decision myself - but who should I try and get with? G1 is nice and i'd hit it - but I'd much prefer G2. I know that G2 likes me (or did until I made a fool out of myself tonight in our phonecall, lol) so I want to try it with her. I just worry about shooting it before it started.

I know this post is ridden with AFC'ness. But I'd still like some help. Christ I sound like someone who's unable to make decisions for themself - I suppose this is the case. But I just want advice from people who are better with women than myself.

How do I mac out a girl if she's got a boyfriend? She was cool with us meeting but made it clear she had a boyfriend.

Is there any way I can salvage the situaton with G2? While I'm glad I actually ahd the balls to ring her - I'm annoyed I messed up with a honey who actually liked me.

I believe that when a girl insists that you know that she has a bf, it means that you should forget about your chances with her. You can always try, but dont be shocked if you fail.

As for G2, the excuses she made are also a bad sign. Try again though, to see if she is really interested or if it's just an impression you have.

In general, when you have 2 possible dates, i think it's a bad idea to discard any of them until clear proof that it's not gonna work out. Date a few girls simultaneously to increase your chances of success and your confidence. It decreases stress to know that you have always plan B in case of failure.

It's a question of your principles if you will follow this saying.

I'd go with both and make the best of it. I'd also go on a date with G1 first, it could be a mindstate-booster before the G2.. And you might feel more relaxed at the G2 date

It's amazing how 2 girls; same species, same sex, can be treated so differently because of your own inability to grasp what is going on inside that head of yours.

Girl 1 - "not so hot", therefore I don't feel so transparent and vulnerable in front of her. Since she's "not so hot" that means she can't see how ****ed up I am inside, and I can relax because she probably wants me.

Girl 2 - "SO HOT!", since she looks so good, she must have an amazing intuition or ability to read my mind and discover that I'm not really a "Don Juan" afterall, and that I'm actually ****ed up and scared of women.

I don't mean any offense by the above, it's just amazing how much OUR OWN perceptions of a woman's physical makeup dictates just how vulnerable we feel in front of them. As if the hotter they are, the more they can see through us and see how corney we really are. We think they can see our flaws and therefore have to use "****y/FunnY" or some other **** to cover up our self-perceived "boring side".

My advice is to sit down and untangle your wires so that you see the situation for what it REALLY is and not what your mind and your fear demon has it worked up to be.
