Hi.

I don't have an acne problem but my forehead gets pretty shiny and oily during the day. When I keep my hair away from my forehead, there is less oil. I think that my hair is oily and the oil is transferred to my forehead.

What should i do to make my hair less oily?

Thanks

Just rinse it thoroughly with just water

Use product on it a lot less including shampoo and conditioner (don't stop altogether just slow it down)

Some people say a bad diet makes it oily to, but i'm not going to ask you to change that

OP,
Use a shampoo without SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulphate) in its ingredients.

This stuff is used for industrial cleaning and is highly toxic. Unfortunately it is found in most shampoos on the market today as it creates a lather. This stuff is also found in shower gels, soaps and toothpaste e.t.c.

Get yourself an organic shampoo without SLS in it and I'm sure you'll see an improvement. The trouble is that SLS strips the hair of its natural oils and then the conditioner is used to replace these oils. The body will then pump out more natural oils to replace the ones that have been stripped away mixing with the conditioner creating greasy/oily hair. Most people repeat this cycle of washing their hair every couple of days because of this.

If you use a shampoo without SLS you probably wont need to bother washing your hair as much. Probably just once a week or so, unless you use a lot of product in your hair.

Get a fairly shortish haircut if you dont have one already.
Wash your face and your hair everyday.
Try to wear lighter clothes when possible, don't get overheated (helps block sweat.)
During school, one thing that helps is going to the bathroom and washing your face every couple classes. I do this a lot and it feels good, it's very refreshing.

Make sure to use soap and water because soap helps counteract the oil.
