I'm in the field of finance and follow twitter quite closely. For me, it's an invaluable source because of my work and that's the only reason i follow it. So a couple of days ago in my country, this girl who's in the same field and known as somewhat of a twitter profile apparently posted a selfie of herself, just like women do because they can't help themselves, and she got attacked by some random guy/troll/whatever and got so fed up and had 'enough', so she threatened to remove her account on twitter, instagram etc. blabla. Nothing new under the sun, women victimizing themselves and whining how unfair the world has become when it doesn't go their way.

What happened then? Well, apparently we're tired of BLM, so a new movement called #aselfieforXXX(her name) sprouted and suddenly literally everyone, even level headed super intelligent older serious businessmen in the field started to post selfies of themselves to show her support and people who questioned this stupidity publicly were reported and print screened for everyone else to see, by the angry white knights who stood like soldiers by the girl's side fighting for her right to post selfies by posting long rants on how irritated they are with these 'disgusting' men.
What has the world come to, a poor girl isn't even allowed to let her narcissistic side flourish on an economic forum and string dudes along?

Maybe these idiots don't realise the world is full of frustrated sexless men who get fvcked over by the same women they're trying to protect that lead to this behavior in the first place.

But we live in a patriarchy, full of toxic masculinity..... right??

Note. she later decided to keep all of her accounts at the delight of everyone.
