Bloomberg posted this article about a study done to determine some of the causes of obsity. Who would have known that it could be caused by things other than overeating!!??

Obesity is caused by a number of things.

Sedentary behavior
Poor diet choices
Stress
Upbringing
Stupidity


When you get all of those coming together, you're extremely likely to become obese. It doesn't matter what amenities you have, if you're out there exercising and eating right, you aren't going to get obese.

The obesity epidemic is influencing what people see on tv. Apparently, women who watch day-time tv (who I am guessing are even more overweight than other women), look down upon a fat woman who loses weight, as if she is some sort of sell-out.

Star Jones Reynolds was noticeably missing from Wednesday morning’s “The View” because ABC network chiefs evidently told the chatterbox to take a hike pronto.

Jones was one of the original cast members of the show when it launched nine years ago. Word is network execs decided not to renew her contract for a 10th season because research showed her dramatic weight loss and 2004 wedding to banker Al Reynolds was a turn-off to viewers.
