Obama Nobel Peace Prize related to aliens?

My room mates and their friends were talking about how his winning the nobel peace prize could be related to aliens.

He won the peace prize for no real known reason. He was only in the office for a few months and he won the NPP. It was stated that he won due to some International crap he worked on but it wasn't disclosed. Apparently there was some UFO citing in NY which was all over the news. i missed it but apparently some of my room mates friends saw it IRL. There have been rumors about obama delivering his speech later this month that he will mention something about E.T.'s. and that if he does the rest of the world leaders will stand up and confirm his statements.

Could be b.s. but if its not...i think its about dam-n time.

Even if aliens were real then we would have a lot of things to worry about.

1. How do we even communciate with them? We always think of aliens as humanoid cause that's how they are portrayed in media. There is a greater chance they are nothing like us at all. They could even be silicon based life-forms and not carbon based like us. The point is we probably wouldn't even be able to communicate with them let alone do something involving a peace treaty with them.

2. If they did indeed come in UFO's as your friends said that means we are like primitive tribesmen to them. We don't even have that technology to travel to other planets consistently. Their level of technology would be so much greater than ours that we would be powerless to whatever their motives were.

3. If it were true and the public found out, there would be mass riots for many different reasons. For example if aliens were real it pretty much debunks every major religion in the world, unless god created a superior race to humans (and they are superior as shown in point 2).

4. The fallacy in your entire post was that the article you showed was posted over a year ago on 10/23/2009. And it claimed Obama would give a speech about extraterrestrials by the end of 2009. If you look at your bottom right corner of your computer it would kind of tell you that the article completely got it wrong cause you know we are in 2k10 not 09.

Also point 5. if Obama did indeed have knowledge of extraterrestials it would be quite odd that Obama is the president that is dismantling NASA, downsizing it and selling parts of it to private companies. You'd think he would ramp up space technologies after encountering aliens no?

Like i said "rumors". I did not state it was the truth. Nothing is definitive until it happens. I was asking for opinions on the topic not for criticism on my post.

I didn't make any fallacies I merely pointed out you posted an article that claimed something would happen by the end of 09 and that something didn't.

Maybe Obama is an alien shape shifter and will reveal his true form on The View Regardless, this stuff is always interesting. It's fun to speculate and debate the "what if's" and the potential implications.

I do believe its possible that aliens could exist, after all the universe is so large... but the whole Obama Nobel Peace Prize connection with aliens I really doubt it.

Even if aliens were real

They do exist. Its just too hard for our minds to understand how infinite the universe is.
