I know eating properly is an important aspect of training. Im very active in sports year round so i can get away with eating almost anything. This current semester i have 2 spares in a row, and me and my friends have got in a habit of going out for breakfast literally EVERY day of the school week. so 5 days i eat the same bfast at the local restaurant. The meal consists of the usual bacon eggs, toast, hashbrowns. I figure most of the stuff there wont hurt me, and is actually healthier than the caf food anyways. Bacon + eggs{protein), toast (fine), hashbrowns (not so good), Can somebody critique this lifestyle, will it lead to any negative effects on me, eating this 5 times a week? along with working out... If so is there any things i can change about the breakfast to make it healthier...perhaps my eggs a certain way...rye toast?

BEcouse breakfast is most important. And u will not gain any weight from what u said u aleways eat.. Hmmm nothing really more to say here.. GOOD LUCK

Bacon is almost pure saturated fat. It's really not healthy at all. Turkey sausage or ham/canadian bacon are much better (though not perfect) alternatives.

Eggs are very healthy - don't even worry about the ingested cholestoral because it doesn't increase your blood's LDL; saturated and trans fat (and to a lessor extend polyunsaturated) are what increase LDL.

Toast can be very healthy if it's the right kind of bread and you're not overdoing the jelly and butter. I suggest only eating whole grain (not wheat, not white). Same deal with pancakes if you eat those.

Believe it or not, those hashbrowns are much healthier than bacon (though still have loads of fat)

If you eat this way long enough you will be one of those guys who look athletic, but have a heart attack in your 40s. Your diet current diet has way too much saturated fat.

sounds like the breakfast of champions, though it's missing some sausages and mushrooms. :D nothing like a full english.

the saturated fat in bacon isn't what you should worry about, it's the additives, and since it's restaurant food, you have no control of what's in your food.

however, since you're sports training and can eat anything and not get fat, good for it. :D I damned well would.

(on a more serious note, if you make your breakfast at home a big meal, you won't feel hungry for the brunch and won't eat so much.. maybe you can just have coffee and toast or something. restaurant food is not healthy and 5 times a week will have negative effects on your health if not your bodyfat imo)
