Notre Dame's schlacking by Michigan at home yesterday proved to the nation that they DID NOT deserve to be ranked #2 in the country.

The media and College Football world ALWAYS hypes Notre Dame up to be better than what they really are (for money I guess). They are a good football team, yes, but did not deserve to be ranked as high as they were.

A "Heismann" candidate like Brady Quinn should not have had such a terrible day as well. Another media manipulation making a Notre Dame player better than what they really are.

Due to the above reasons and the fact they are the only college football team to have a contract with a TV network is why I do not like Notre Dame football.

THe only thing I admire about them is the tough schedule they have.

I read an article about Notre Dame football a few months ago which pointed out that Ty Willingham actually had a BETTER start as the ND coach than Weis had last year, but because Weis is the coach Notre Dame is ranked outrageously high. Notre Dame have always been overrated.

Or is it that Michigan does deserve a very high ranking?

It's gonna be tough for any Big Ten team to come out of their meat-grinder schedules unscathed (the MSU offense also looked pretty impressive agianst Pitt), but it will be utter madness if UM and OSU are both undefeated when they meet.

Michigan looked pretty fuggin' impressive in every aspect of the game. That Henne to Manningham bomb is going to be the killer big play combo of the year. Manningham ran some hella slick routes.

Funny how Michigan football has changed over the years ~~~

As a huge ND fan I even have to admit Michigan is A GRRREAT team. ND got beat. It happens.

Now last minute wins like what just happened with UCLA are what make ND an entertaining and Dilligent team

Notre Dame's victory over UCLA was...okay I guess. But it definately takes a back seat to MSU's ultimate come from behind victory over North Western and even more so to the Tenn comin back on Bama. Those games were amazing.

After the ND game I was highly ecstatic over the win, But had been watching the Bama v. Tenn game too. Alabama was certainly an Underdog and I was highly impressed that their defense put up a good fight. Their offense was terrible. I'm probably going to Attend UA next year so I'm working on becoming a Roll Tide Fan. It was a great game to watch, but it definetely left me pi$$ed for the rest of the weekend.

ND is lucky not to have FOUR losses.

this is the only team that can go 7-4 and get a bid to a major bowl game (non BCS). this is also why their bowl record is a lousy 13 wins and 14 losses, with 8 losses in a ROW following the 2005 season.

Chicken-Sh!ts are too afraid, and too greedy, to join the Big Ten too!

I hope USC steamrolls them ;-)
