One more question, I thought about just replying in the first thread I made, but then I realzied no one might read it anymore, so I'm making a new thread.


I was just wondering, do you ppl think its ok if I just don't go for the hook-up, partying, and drinking thing of college life? Some I read make it a standard to say how awesome college is (like hooking up the 13th day). However, for me, I like the idea of finding an ltr rather than ons or something like that. Also I rarely drink and find myself so far not caring that much for the scene.

Or am I just being crazy.

Also one other thing is one of the advice is to focus on making friends first, but then there's the idea the female friend should be avoided... umm... so I'm a bit divided on meeting new girls...

I dont know who said female friends should be avoided. The more female friends you have the more of their female friends you have and also it increases your social value in the eyes of others watching you.

Yep, female friends are great! But it's suggested that you should not befriend girls you are sexually intrested in.

I never was intrested in partying and drinking with college parties, but they sucked around here so nothing lost. Anyway, you should do whatever you are comfortable with. If you don't like going to college parties, then don't. Do what you want. However, I suggest not to exclude your college parties altogether. It might be the only way to keep in touch or getting new friends there.
