Nightclubs/Bars

What happens if your not really into the nightclub/bar scene...?
I've gone a few times since I turned 18 but I just didn't really care for it, I don't know what it is but it didn't click. What are some other places I could visit on a regular basis besides the malls and the parks to meet women.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Even though I'm not big on this....the workplace is a good place to meet women. The library is good too if you like intelligent women. Make a list of what you like to do for fun...and then do some sort of organized event related to that. It beats the Joe-Shmoe identity guys get when they go to bars/clubs and the girl would at least have something in common with you.

work
gym
weddings
banks (ie hot bank tellers)
company parties
sporting events
internet
mcdonalds
kmart
jenny craig - if you like em thick!

Seriously though, the list is pretty limitless. Guys are going to go on saying that YOU CANT meet women at these places because these are not environments where women are used to being hit on, unlike a nightclub/bar. So, this may translate into a 'who the heck is this creep' response by the lady.

On the contrary, many of the guys on this site are gonna tell you that they can pick up girls anywhere...and you know what...they're pretty much right.

IT WILL be harder to catch women at say mcdonalds versus a nightclub because the mood at mcdonalds isnt particular to 'hooking up'...but hell..if you see a cutie, and you can feel an attraction..what the heck's gonna stop you from getting those digits?!

On the real, you're 18, a young man who's about to hit college...DORMS, FRAT PARTIES, SORORITY PARTIES, KEGGERS, CAMPUS EVENTS...Man!!! it's limitless bro.

In any rate, if you still don't take into my suggestions, ask your buddies with gf's where the heck they hooked up.

I do work in a grocery store so there are 3-4 fine women upfront as cashiers and packing groceries. Just that its a fast paced enviroment and they want to focus on working. I could go on break at the same time as them aslong as they don't go in groups. Well now I'm just making up exsuces.

Any more tips/hints?

That's good if you're only 18 and you are able to recognize that the bar/nightclub scene isn't all that great. On top of that the caliber of women you'll meet in there is very low. Coffee shops are good places to meet some girls too.

My hobbys for the most part include..
- Cars... What guy doesn't have this as a interest.
But more into imports and autocross.

- Camping, fishing

- Career wise I'm taking Biology and Chemistry but I don't know if I be in school, ethier this year or the next.

hmmm what else.

- Working

I have met many different types of gals at a nite club. Hell I have even been in a LTR with few of them.

It's not the places you go or the types of girls you meet, it is you and how you view things. A genuinely interested mind will always find something interesting, no matter where they are are who they are with.

I'm just wondering, if you go to a bar or a club, but don't drink, how would that look? I've wondered about what would happen if I were to go and just order a Diet Coke or something. Would anyone think twice about it?

No...it doesn't matter.

Girls at clubs put up a wall. They can go to a bar or club and have it in their mind that they're not going to give ANY guy the time of day no matter WHAT they look like. You could be a great guy ...with everything going for you but don't expect that to be seen at a club.

You'll find out eventually that most girls go to clubs with the intention of "going out dancing" while guys are looking to hook up (and when I say hook up..I don't just mean gettin' girls into the sack). We all know that it takes 2 to tango so you can see with this kind of situation what the typical outcome will be.

My advice...go to the bars/clubs.....just don't second guess yourself. Stay confident in who you are and don't depend on the bars/clubs as the only place for you to meet women.
