New Shoes

I have read and have heard so much the importance of a man wearing good quality shoes especially if your interested in attracting a quality woman.

Shoes should be the number one item a man should start with when buying or updating his clothes.

Now beside that I ordered these new pair earlier in the week and picked them up this morning. What drew me to them was they stood out on the page amongst all the other pair I was viewing at the time and felt these shoes would present me well.

These shoes are not only sharp in my opinion but very comfortable and go well with my jeans or dress pants.

Not that I need anyones permission.. I am curious what you think of this style of shoe did I make a good choice?

I like those a lot. I love shoes that have versatility; you can wear those with jeans or pants.

This is stupid. Brown shoes are fine. I couldn't see myself wearing black shoes with khakis; it's tacky.

Powerlifter, all you have to worry about is making sure your belt and shoes match (and wear brown shoes with khakis).

I think it has alot to do with the type of brown the shoe is and the type of woman to ask and I did mention a quality woman but not all quality women are the same.

Everything I have read on brown shoes I haven't heard anything negative unless a man is wearing brown shoes with a black suit or something,

Black shoes I realize they have there place as a main shoe for suits and other former wear and though I am dressing mainly for me and will wear them only in casual settings it would be a added benefit if the ladies dig my shoes and style even if they are brown or a lighter brown.

I like the different opinions on the board but actually this was what the place I bought my shoes from said. There was a lady who measured and fitted my shirts for me and the man who owns the place who gave his suggestions.

This place is where most higher end clients buy there clothes like bankers, busniness owners etc., They said to wear brown shoes with khakis or tan dress pants with brown and was also OK for blue jeans.

This is a mens only clothing store that is definitely more upscale and expensive then your average clothing stores I'd hate to think they are all wrong but they were impressed with the Clark Rams I bought as well.

shop at stores like eastbay for all your shoes. then buy your dress shoes you wear with dress clothes. why do guys get into that pretty look? wearing dress shoes with jeans and a blazer? that look dumb. look at all the guys women think are hot. non of them wear this bull****.

There is no right or wrong answer on what shoe color to buy. It depends on the color of your pants. Black can pair with anything, so if you can only afford one pair of nice shoes, make them black. But brown is fine so long as you match it up correctly.

WTF? That doesn't even make any sense. It depends on other colours in your clothes. If you're wearing a black leather belt and other black clothes, black shoes are better.

I myself wear a brown leather jacket, brown belt, brown leather watchband. No way I will wear black leather shoes with that. Ever. Only black allstars. But they go with anything. :rock:

Ok in defence of taiyuu_otoko I did a little research on this black color and brown color when wearng shoes and what I found was black is considered a rebellous color and brown is considered compliant.

I am sure TO would agree with what brown shoes and black shoes are supposed to go with as in the color of the pants as this wasn't his point though he can speak for himself.

So I believe what he was saying is wear black when attracting women for sex as it shows your still a wild card of sorts and don't comform to social conventions and wear brown if your looking for a steady more traditional long term relationship. As crazy as this sounds women supposely read this when judging a mans shoes and it's color but how much truth is behind it is open and still debateable.

Now I guess it's up to me to do a field test and see the type of woman I attract when I walk around in my tan colored Rams.

It should be interesting but I am sure many women can care less about the shoes a man wears but wonder if his size is in line with his private.

While true, if your skill with women is held back by your shoe choice that means your skill isn't actually that high. Why should shoes make or break something? I know guys who picked up using brown loafers, I picked up in white shoes that were half covered in mud. If shoe style makes or breaks your game, I advise you don't buy a new shoe and instead find what's wrong with your game. Shoes will always get old but game is a skill that no one can really take away.
