Hello all, I just regged, and will be starting the bootcamp week1 tomorrow (friday the 11). I am american male, 41 y/o never married. I shall be posting my results in the appropriate places.

I currently live in Japan teaching English, and will be here for at least 15 more months. I have had sporadic AFC-ish luck with women in the past (like since I was 17), and I am looking forward to finally shrugging off old AFC self.

Me too!!! But how did an American get a Japenese name? I have a question thought.......is japan like the movies where there are hot ass asians everywhere?!! I ask because me and my cousin want to visit that place and "Sarge" because I wanna fvck a damn asian! lol

Too bad you couldn't get a job in the Former Soviet Union. I doubt if you would be having these problems There are not that many English teachers here though. Just a bunch of Jesus Freaks, Mormon Missionaries, and spooky Soros Foundation types. Oh yeah, there is me and some black American basketball players as well. Life is Good

Question: Didn't the main English teaching organization in Japan end? Something about a scandal I was reading about in regards to that company. Heard that a lot of English language teachers were pissed about it.

meitenesrigas: yea, they were called NOVA, went belly up, big boss split with a bunch of cash, lots of teachers stranded with no income to pay rent so they had to go back home, and lots of Japanese were out lots of cash for prepaid lessons. Overall a fukked up situation.

As far as the former CCCP goes, I actually looked into working in Moscow (among other places) , but I chose Japan because
