The way I do business with my web development business, I generally am bidding against sometimes as many as 70 otehr web development companies for jobs.
what i have learned when dealing with online **** is that, the first thing, before you do anytihng, anything at all, you have to stand out. you have to. doesn't matter why you stand out, but you ahve to stand out.
If not your profile is going to get tossed in the wayside with everyone elses regardless of how smooth your game is, you haven't grabbed her attention.
you can't treat online **** like you treat real life ****. that's some **** i would never say in real life. but on line, most girls first reaction is going to be either to ask why or they are going to email you back just to tell you how big of a jerk you are. either way, you got the hard part done; you got her attention. from there it's a cakewalk. by
when i am emailing clients i generally start off saying something 100000x outlandish. like look.. i'm going to lay this like this; you aren't going to find anyone better than me so dont' bother. whatever it is you are trying to do i assure you you won't find a better job at a better price with us, and if you do i will do your site free of charge.
but the kicker, is i never ever send examples of my work wtih the first email; beucase i don'tw ant them to look ati t.. and our work is that good IMHO... but that's znot the point. i actually get more responess ffrom clients by not sending our portoflio than by sending it. By sending the portfolio the first time there is no drama, no build up. by sending your portoflio you get clumped in with like 70 other opepole and they can go them them all at their own pace. by telling him look man, stop wazsint your time and send me the god damn check, you if anything, stand out. he's going to automatically email you back and say well show me what ou can do.
by doing this not only have you got him to respond, you also got him to actually LOOK at your **** when it hits his email.
**** even the ****ns that email me back to tell me how big of an arrogant prick i am and how business like that is not, **** you emailed me didn't you lol? every once in a while i even sale those people.
And then, even when we don't get a job from a client, it's engrained in the client's head, we're good. we never lose clients beucase someone else is just better, beucase the client associates us with good work. maybe someone out bidded us or someone offered to do the job with no deposit at all, but never does the guy come to me and say you just arne't good enough.
for what you are trying to do, you have done a masterful job my man. you would be a good sales person. that's exactly what the fvck you do.
to the guys who are worried about her seeing through it, you miss the entire point. i don't give a **** if she thinks i'm a jerk, or she sees threw it, i am just trying to get her to contact me back and actually rad what i have to say or hear what i have to say. at that point your game takes over. but you have to grab her attention first. as the 48 laws of power says, court attention at ALL costs. not half ass costs. not 75% costs. do whatever the fvck you got to do to get your ass noticed.
