If the US and Canada follow suit with what the UK is going for, there's gonna be trouble if women are looked upon favorably in a common-law separation.

So a woman can haul you to court to get half your stuff when you break up even if you're not legally married? After how long together does this take effect?

I think I've just lost all interest in women. Damn greedy b!tches! It's all about money with them, isn't it?

Thats a good point spider, you are still safe as long as she dont live with you! However its still scary!

This reminds me of what i heard on the news, the expert being interveiwed by the reporter was against it and said

"People who are not maried but dont want a wedding complain they need more protection from society, well they do have protection all they have to do is go down to the registery office and register themselves! Its like someone complaining that theres jam on the supermarket shelf and they cant get any because they cant be bothered to go to the supermarket."
