Hey everybody,
I read in the DJ Bible that finding something to be passionate about like sports or whatever is a great way to become a more well-rounded person. I feel that this would be a great idea for me because as it stands I have a very narrow scope of interests. Right now I'm into some geeky stuff. I spend a lot of time on the computer (mostly because I have to be home throughout the day since I have to care for my dad who was injured in a motorcycle accident). I also head to a local games shop to pick up video games and board games for when I get together with my friends who have similar interests.
All of my other friends enjoy doing other things than just playing on the computer and such, so it's hard to relate to them when we're doing something else. I'm looking to bridge the gap between myself and others.
So, my question to you guys is as follows:
What are some other things I can get in to doing?
I'm really not a sportsy type (read: completely athletically retarded).
I'm a big reader and am good at learning things, so it wouldn't be hard to learn something new if I put my mind to it.
Suggestions, anybody? Thanks.
