When and where I am an idiot, tell me.
First, introductions...feel free to ignore this part:
My name is Sean, and I´m a 23 year old college student, and will be for the next decade or so. I attend San Diego State. I have about 6 days experience in even realizing such a community exists, and right now am perusing, reading and chatting.
I tend to do well with women, or well enough. I can approach pretty confidently, and have some decent openers and mid-game conversations that I like to use. Unique ones too, since I never have discussed this stuff. I might post my ****ty game, later.
I actually found out about this community after writing a 2 page post/guide to meeting women on a car racing forum. Someone else pointed out that I was reinventing the wheel. ****. I´ll post it here later so you guys can read it and laugh about what you think is wrong, and congratulate me on what you think is right.
I prefer long term relationships, in general, but plan on taking a good while off from that due to me leaving a 15 month relationship and wanting some freedom. Thus; here I am.
Next: having read around a bit, I´m not sure I want to be here or somewhere else. I found this site first, bought The Game and Mystery Method, read those, and then came back here. This sequence has left me a bit confused as to whether I want to study the PUA literature or the DJ literature more, and which path I want to follow. I think the DJ approach is a bit classier, and perhaps more fulfilling, but The Game has obviously tipped my interest toward those techniques. I want to take a look around the internet and look at sites related to both. To thast end, what is the largest/best PUA forum, so I can compare? Is there a PUA sub-community here? What forums should be avoided?
Third, I want to spend some money on peacocking, call it a way of seperating my post-involvment lifestyle from my pre-involvment lifestyle. Nothing too outrageous, but 200 to 500 dollars is within reason. What are some good ideas? I am currently thinking of a watch, but it seems a bit dull.
Basically, what are good things to look for or look at? Things that could be openers in and of themselves, are interesting, and perhaps useable for anchoring?
I know this isn´t nessecary, and in fact unimportant in someways, but I am doing it for myself as much as for women, so ignore whether I should or not.

Fourth and finally. I am in a foreign country, and would like to approach women with whom a large langauge barrier exists. I can make simple concepts understood. Has this ever been discussed, or am I dreaming? Let me know.
