New cold opener... thoughts?

So I was thinking about all the opinion openers, and none of them really suit me, so I came up with this. It is not field tested, I am just asking for your thoughts on whether its worth a try:

blah blah need quick opinion.... How would you guys describe a 'real man'?


I think this is worth a shot because:

-Girls dream about prince charming, but the really 'together' chicks likely have a very mature, put together idea of who he is
-Pre-screens for all kinds of psychos/gold diggers
-Lots of opportunity to bust on them about various things depending on responses
-easy to lead into a ton of other topics or routines
-something that men and women should care about
-feedback on how to improve yourself
-opens them up to compliment you
- ...

- Wierd to ask complete strangers about what a real man is... thats my opinion... but go ahead and try it if you feel you are sitting on something.

Yea thats the kind of feedback I want.... any reasons people think this may not work, and something I could add to make it seem less weird.

I figured it would work best if approaching a larger set, say in a bar or something.

Maybe tell a story first, like "hey me and my buddies over there were just talking about what a real man is... I said its Arnold Schwartzanegger because he is as strong as ****, otherfriend said its brad pitt, because he can get all the ladies, another guy said Bill Gates, because he is rich and successful.... What do you guys think a 'real man' is?"

seems like too fast too soon.

its a great question to ask a little LATER in the conversation.. It seems that if you just come up to a chick asking that, most of the time the girl would be like "what the ****???"

i'd use that line in a later stage as a conversation opener that will lead through emotion talking/fantasy talking...
then to patterns
