If it goes like this soon we would better use a camoufage even for dates, surely some new law will tell us how we own something to a woman simply because we shared the same table.

Exactly what I was thinking. Guys are too smart now to marry women under the "males get shafted" court system. So the feminists and lawyers are going after people who live together. This is only going to force men to stop living with women. So the logical next step is to go after people who date. Share a movie with a woman and bang she owns half your car lol.

As a side note, this strikes me as a terrible blow against freedom. People can't make choices for themselves without the tyrannistic government's direct supervision.

Notice also that the article says that couples would be waking up surprised to find out they were essentially married. Really, when they come up with laws like this they should at least issue some sort of warning.

Just make sure that you move into her house and paint a few walls or change a toilet, then you're good!

Good point, make sure she's the one with something to lose.

Meanwhile, sock all your money away in a secret stash somewhere. Would a foreign bank account be safe? Where's Brad80?

Who benefits?

The courts, lawyers and government seems to be the big winner here.

A lot of marriages are like having a housemate you don't have sex with, barely talk to and barely tolerate. So this means you can't have a housemate of the opposite sex for more than 2 years or she can claim you were a couple. :D

The more they push, the faster the system collapses.

Next up will be if you date a chick without cohabiting for more than 2 years, you're married. Get ready then for lots of women being dumped at the 23 months mark.

I wish this law came out in 2000. I was living with 5 chicks. Sexing two and working on a third. I could've had a real harem going.

P.S. This law came into effect last March. Some of you BCers are shacked up and already 4 months into your "engagement"!
