I own both, about 16 shares of Disney and only two shares of Netflix, so not a lot.

I subscribe to Netflix, but not Disney+.

I think Netflix is awesome and has the best content. I don't subscribe to Disney+ since I don't have kids and half of it seems to be Sci-Fi and superhero stuff which I don't care for. However, I like ESPN and love Disney Parks.

I know Disney just missed earning yesterday and got crushed today.

What do you think is the better stock?

Netflix is winning the streaming wars, has the best content and I believe will remain the top dog in that department for years. However, they only have one sector and don't have any other sectors within the company to act as a hedge. I know they are now in video games, but I think that is just an added bonus for subscribers.

Disney+ is nowhere close to Netflix, but perhaps only makes up 1/3 of Disney's portfolio, the other two being Parks/Resorts and merchandise.

While I think Netflix has a lot more upside potential than Disney, I think Disney is a lot safer as a stock.

What do you think?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Disney is in a mountain of debt, they are not making that much profit.

Netflix makes profit but their spending is skyrocketing every year, eventually it's going to catch up to them

I personally wouldn't invest in either long term
