I sell this guy a video card, then I message him with "HELLO. HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM?"
This is his response:
So I write him back:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE. I'M GLAD YOU RECEIVED IT. BE ASSURED THAT
I'M NOT YELLING AT YOU, IN FACT, WE CAN SPEAK ON THE PHONE AND YOU CAN
ELIMINATE INAPPROPRIATE GUESSING.. SATISFACTION IS MY NUMBER 1 GOAL.. IF
YOU HAVE A MINUTE PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIKED THE PACKAGING, AND IF
THE SHIPPING WAS FAST ENOUGH. THANKS AGAIN.
I don't leave feedback until they leave positive feedback, for obvious reasons.. How to and when to ask them for positive feedback so that they don't get defensive like that?
This is his response:
Yes. I have not installed it yet, so if you're fishing for feedback,
you'll just have to wait until the item is installed and tested. I don't
appreciate being yelled at, just for feedback.....(you wrote in all caps
and that is an accepted sign in the messaging community as yelling)
So I write him back:
