So i'm a highschooler looking to get some Abs, and i've had a fairly trim stomach my whole life due to playing sports (track, soccer ect.) and i have very little body fat. I have a mainly ectomorphic build. I've finally decided to go ahead and get a six pack and i am looking for some advice on the best way for me to go about doing this.

Because everyone needs a unique workout to get the results they want (in this case a six pack) i've included my relevant info and a couple pictures to help.

Here is a pic of what i have to start with:

Here are my specs:

Age: 16
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 155lbs
Body fat: 6.5%

All advice is appreciated!

you don't need a unique workout, you just have to develop your abs and overall musculature more. weighted ab work will do the trick.

is that 6.5%? hard to tell but I'm not sure.. in any case it doesn't matter. :)

having a low bodyfat is not sufficient for a sixpack in many cases.. if there's no muscle under the fat, you ain't gonna show up anything.

So basically just do some wieghted ab workouts? any recommended excersizes? And perhaps a link on how to do them correctly, cause any excersize done incorrectly is worthless.

And yeah it's 6.5%, maybe it's gone up to 7, but it almost never fluxuates. Fast metabolism.

it's cause you're 16.. lol. wait til you get older. ;)

just do weighted situps with a plate or dumbbell on your chest. you can also do these on a decline bench. go for one or two sets of 15-20. that's all you need.

I feel sore as a mofo if I do 2 sets of 8.

I might try that one set.

Also, doing it on the glute/ham raise machine feels like it hits the entire abdominal wall. Does it actually, or am I just feeling something i'm not sure of.

as an aside, careful when you bring the weight up. my gf recently pulled her right lat bringing the weight up. she knows better than to swing weight around while doing an actual exercise, but got sloppy trying to yank a 40 lb dumbbell into place one-armed while laying down. trying sitting with it in your lap, then bringing it into place as you lay back.

So this all gets easier as you age?

GHR abs is another good choice of exercise yes.

True Wolf, your metabolism will settle as you age, that's what I mean..
