Nah, don't do that routine, it's crap. There's no squats or deadlifts and it's just generally whack.

Do this instead.

monday
--
squats 3x5
pullthroughs
chinups 3xfailure
calves

wednesday
---
incline bench 3x5
flat db press 3x8
db shoulder press 2x8
triceps

friday
--
deadlifts 3x5
chinups 3xfailure
curls

or just anything based around squats deadlifts bench rather than leg extensions :)

quick advice: get advice from anywhere but bodybuilding.com. it's not that it's all useless, it's just hard to sort out the wheat from the chaff there...

sounds good.

I'd like some more opinions though.

I like to apply the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) method. Shaun's routine looks solid to me, do it for 12 weeks or so to see if it works. The routine in that link you gave seems ok, but there seem to be a few unnecessary lifts in there, at least for a beginner. Focus on the big compound lifts first, then add some isolation movements in later, if you feel the need to. Eat well, lift progressively heavier weights, and keep well-rested.
