Need help, Short Hair Style

I'm so pissed off right now. I've had shaggy, curly (natural) hair for at least a year now and I liked it a lot. Girls like to play with it because they said it was so soft. It was kind of that 70's look...

Well, I went in today for a "trim" at a new place b/c I'm not in my normal city and the girl totally ****ed it up... It looked like I had a giant bowl on my head... I don't know what to do now for a hair style because as I sit here now I fell like a total faggot.

I wish I could post a pic up of myself for help but I don't have a digital with me. What are some good short hair styles? I kind of have a dirty blonde colored hair. I need to do something to take the attention off my nose and mouth... pics would be helpful.

I've been sitting on google for awhile now and can't find any good places online with lots of pictures. Anyone have any places with good pictures of men's hairstyles?

I freaking hate how I look right now... I don't even want to go out until I get this fixed.

go to like a celbrity site, they always oogle over hair styles and stuff... it's just hair man, I had that happen to me, know i always wear my hair like that...

Thanks man... I know it's just hair. It's just that I've had several girls all tell me to not get my hair cut b/c they liked it. I just wanted a trim and she totally messed it up... It seriously looked like a girl's haircut when they wear it up high and short... hard to describe. It still kind of looks like that even now. It's just I never got attention before and when I grew my hair out I started to get attention because of it... now I'm back to looking dorky like I had to in High School b/c of the rules they had...

I've got an appointment tomorrow with someone else at the same hair place... She's going to see what she thinks... Maybe i'll try the short hair that's spiked up now... not sure I'll look good in it but it's better than what I got now...

It is only your hair. Go ahead and get a crewcut and when girls ask you why you did it say it was because you were tired of having a bunch of tramps hitting on you. But no seriously, what is done is done. Change may be better than you thought it would.
