howdy,

so have become hip recently to a lot of CORE HUMAN BEHAVIORS:

that people respond to weakness with contempt, they genuinely like the powerful.

that people who are POSITIVE find things in the world to back up their beliefs and likewise, people who are NEGATIVE can only see things as negative. seemingly an extension of the maxim, "if the only thing you have is a hammer, everything starts looking like a nail."

-----------------------------------------------------

THIS IS REALLY INTERESTING SHYT!

what i'd like to ask you guys is WHAT SUBJECT is this?

if i just look up human psychology books, would it speak about human behavior such as this in ways that are relevant to daily life?

i want an exploration of HUMAN NATURE on this level... what we do and how our brains truly truly create the world that we live in.

what subject am i looking for? psych? neurology?

any good books on this subject? seems like a must read for EVERYONE who is human!

This would fall under Personality and Human Behavior. Most people interested in this area would start out reading about Frued's writings about the ID, Ego, superego, subconscious and conscious.

Social Psychology would be the APA recognized branch that deals with stuff like that. Though, I can't say if studies have been specifically done on the statements in your post.

'Attachment Styles' 'Locus of Control', or 'Self fufiling prophecy' might be good terms to kick off a search with.
Actually, Social Psychology is more about interactions between people, not so much a person's interactions with himself or herself.
